Sharing the Let’s Talk language with parents / carers can help children apply the concepts more consistently. There is a parent guide available on the portal, which includes the key information and rationale. The portal also includes PowerPoints sessions that can be delivered to parents.
IMPACT sessions
Many schools arrange IMPACT sessions where parents / carers come into school and in a Let’s Talk lesson alongside their child. This allows parents / carers to see the programme in action and gives children the chance to explain their learning and show off their journals.
School displays
There is a wide selection of Let’s Talk posters. We have posters for every term in the classroom and a range of outdoor posters that can help to support behaviour in the playground.
Staff training
There are numerous PowerPoints available for staff training. These include sessions on the Golden Challenges, journaling and how to use the outdoor posters. The training folder is updated when requests are made to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant when there are statutory changes.
